Emerson announced the acquisition of Mita teknik to consolidate its business in renewable energy

Emerson recently announced that it had acquired Mita through an all cash transaction. Founded in 1969, Mita is a leader in wind power control automation business, providing technology for wind turbines and wind farms to give full play to their best performance and achieve excellent reliability. This acquisition can be highly complementary to Emerson’s existing control system product portfolio, driving the company to further help customers move towards digital operation and achieve their sustainable development goals.

Mita’s proprietary control device can manage the operation of the wind turbine, so as to fully improve the energy output. At the same time, its control software can optimize the output of the wind farm and provide cost optimized energy. In addition to Mita’s complete OEM technology portfolio, it also serves the rapidly growing after-sales market segment by providing cost competitive modification solutions that extend the service life of turbines and increase annual power generation.

Mita occupies an important position in the growing wind energy industry.
