ABB “Digital Intelligence Cup” building digital intelligent design competition is an architectural design competition hosted by ABB Electric and directed by the Building Electrical Branch of the Chinese Architecture Society for the national incumbent electrical designers.


With the theme of “drawing · digital city, building · smart future”, the competition aims to recruit innovative “low-carbon building energy efficiency solutions” and “intelligent building control solutions”, build low-carbon building models with new technologies, products and solutions, and endow a beautiful green living space; Use intelligent technology to assist building design, create smart buildings and realize a low-carbon future.

There are two sets of topics in this competition: one is low carbon building energy efficiency solutions, which can solve the building energy efficiency management and achieve low carbon and energy conservation. Solutions and products can adopt but are not limited to: eEMS studio intelligent energy management system, insite proM terminal intelligent power distribution solution, DIN Rail&Enclosure terminal intelligent products and three-box solution.


The other group is intelligent building control solution, which can realize the comfortable, intelligent and energy-saving experience of the building. The solutions and products can adopt, but are not limited to, i-bus intelligent lighting control system, Cylon intelligent building control, and loT EWA intelligent panel.


In 2023, the ABB “Digital Intelligence Cup” building digital intelligent design competition will be applied online. The application will end at the end of March 2023, and the competition will continue until May 2023. The winners will have the opportunity to get the prize money, the guidance of industry leaders and the attendance of the award ceremony at the annual meeting of the Building Electrical Branch of the Chinese Academy of Architecture.
